HAGERSTOWN – Thelma Jo Anne (Stillwell) Warmoth, 85, peacefully passed away at Reid Health Hospital in Richmond on Friday January 18, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of the late John and Louise (Stevenson) Stillwell “Jo Anne” was born in New Castle Indiana on March 4th, 1933. She graduated from New Castle High School with the class of 1953. In 1964 She moved, with her late husband, Jack Warmoth to the Hagerstown area where she has lived for the past 55 years. She worked as a nurse for Mr. and Mrs., Ralph Teetor from 1978 until 1986.
She then co-managed the “Teetor House Bed and Breakfast” with her late husband until their retirement in 1997. She enjoyed, spending time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, reading, gardening and spoiling her Daschund Bubby.
Survivors include 2 sons, Gill (Emily) Warmoth of Hagerstown and Guy (Sandra) Warmoth of Richmond, two granddaughters, Meghan (Luke) Kendall of Hagerstown, Annie (Noah) Clark of Cheyenne Wyoming and two great-grandchildren Marly and Jack Kendall. “Jo Anne” was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jack Warmoth. Her parents John and Louise (Stevenson) Stillwell, a sister Evelyn Lough and a brother John Stillwell all of New Castle Indiana. A celebration of life will be held for friends and family on Saturday, April 6th at the Nettle Creek Senior Center, located at 327 E Main St, Hagerstown, IN 47346 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
