Thomas H. Joiner, 78, of Richmond passed away peacefully on February 22, 2021, at his home. He was born June 5, 1942, in Richmond to Harry and Martha Commons Joiner and lived here all his life. He was the former owner of Commons Lumber Company. He was an Army veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Richmond Lodge F&AM #196, Scottish Rite, Indianapolis Valley, Murat Shrine Temple, and Trarum Shrine Club.

He is survived by three children Sarah (David) Jones of Parker City, Paul (Jennifer) Joiner of Sharps Chapel, Tennessee, and David Joiner of Richmond, seven grandchildren Addysen Jones, Brady Jones, Jonathon, and Andrew Neely, Savannah, Jenelle, and Austin Prichard, his sister Ginny (Bill) Botkin of Yulee, Florida, his brother Richard (Jean) Joiner of Phoenix, Arizona, nieces, and nephews, his companion Faye Young of Richmond, and Sarah and Paul’s mother Dianna Joiner. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 28, 2021, with Rev. Curt Neis officiating, and Masonic memorial service at 1:45 P.M. Sunday both at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home.
