Timothy David “Tim” Hill, age 71, of New Castle, passed away Monday at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie surrounded by his family. He was born Mary 1, 1950 in New Castle, Indiana to John and Vinnia Adkins Hill.
He graduated from Walter P. Chrysler High School in 1969. He worked several jobs but spent most of his years at Brook’s Food in Mt. Summit, Pendleton Correctional Facility in Pendleton, and Chrysler Corporation in New Castle and in Kokomo from which he retired. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his little buddy,Raidyn. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and watching football.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Roxanna Marie Laird Hill; a son, David Allen Hill; a daughter, Dianne Marie Hill; four granddaughters, Kylie Marie, Jordan Cheyenne, Teri Mikhal, and Katie Lynn Hill; a great-grandson, Raidyn Paul Shults; a great-granddaughter, Zoey LuAnn Prudence Hill; a brother, Scott Hill, all of New Castle. Several nieces, nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Vinnia Hill; a son, Michael Shawn Hill; three brothers, John, Wylie, and Henry; five sisters, Betty, Lula Belle, Helen, Christine, and Carolyn; a brother-in-law, Michael Leroy Laird.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 22, 2021 at Macer-Hall-Marcum Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad St., New Castle. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana.
