CENTERVILLE, Ind. – Timothy W. Kempton, age 53, of Centerville, Indiana, died Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at his home.
Born June 23, 1964, in Richmond, Indiana, to Alan Walter and Edith Reynolds Kempton, Tim was a life-long resident of Wayne County. He was a 1982 graduate of Centerville High School. Tim enjoyed music and gardening. He loved spending time with his family and had fun “debating” with them.
Survivors include his father, Alan Kempton of Centerville; mother, Edith (Pete) Jansen of Richmond; sisters, Pamela (Steve) Riggle and Paula (Rick) Allen, both of Richmond; nieces, Erin Parker of Denver, Colorado, and Taylor Allen of Richmond; nephew, Devon Parker of Richmond; aunt, June McGillem of Richmond; extended family; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Burnette Spurgeon and cousin, Paul McGillem.
A private service for Timothy W. Kempton will be held at the convenience of the family. In honor of Tim, a Tree of Life will be planted. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
