HAGERSTOWN – Tomi Michelle Masters, 23, died unexpectedly on December 22, 2018. She was born in New Castle on January 11, 1995, to Shawn Masters and Michelle Masters.

She was a 2013 graduate of Union High School in Modoc. Tomi had lived in California for the past 3 ½ years; she loved being a “Cali girl” enjoying the ocean and warm weather.

Tomi was outgoing and friendly to everyone. People were drawn to her cheerful personality. She lit up the room with her smile! She loved her dog, Kiya.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Shawn R. Masters II, James “Mitchell” Weber and Jay Lynn Weber; paternal grandparents Mamaw Sandy and Jay Morris and Ronnie Masters; aunts and uncles Jim (June) Marshall, Eldona (Wallace) Workman, Robert A. Gauker and Shelby Masters; niece Brooklyn Masters; nephew Varen Sites; several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.

Tomi was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Thomas A and Patricia E. Gauker and paternal great-grandparents Earl and Irene Masters and Louise Newton.

A celebration of Tomi’s life will be held at Dave’s Café Flatlanders (upstairs), 581 E. Main St., Hagerstown on Saturday, January 12 from 1 to 4 PM.
