Trent Allen Walter, age 29, passed away at his residence on May 25, 2022.  He was born August 23, 1992, the son of David Walter and Joy Grey, in Richmond, Indiana.

Trent was a resident of Wayne County; and also known as “Boo” to his loved ones. He completed 11th grade and then started a family.  Trent loved to tinker even as a young child on his bikes.  As he got older, he became a handyman working odd jobs and did construction work and home remodeling.  He always rooted for the Bulls.  Trent loved being outdoors and playing video games.  Trent was an energetic child and that didn’t change later in life.  He loved his huge extended family the most and he cared so much for his loved ones.  The first thing he would always say… “He loved being a father and wanted to be the best dad he could and be the best big brother to his four siblings.”

Trent leaves to cherish his memory, his son: Izaiah Allen Walter (Jocelyn Moore, mother of Izaiah); father: David Walter; mother: Joy Grey (Doug); step-mom’s: Stephanie Frame and Nikki Holbert;  maternal grandparents: Mary and Roy Cross; paternal grandparents: Sharon and Frank “Cash” Inderstrodt (who has had a very special place in Trent’s heart since he was born); sister: Crisann Walter; two brothers: Brent Walter (Alexis) and David Walter Jr. (Lauren); step-brother: Jon Phillips; three nieces: Aubree and Alina Walter and Harper Walter; nephew: Chase Walter; aunt: Norma Green; and a host of other stepbrothers, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including special family: great aunts: Susan Leonard, Karen Vanderpool and Robin Walter; great uncle: Randy Leonard; second cousins: Silvia and Caila Hernandez; and so many more.

He is preceded in death by his great grandma and grandpa: June and Wallace Leonard; great grandma: Dora Inderstrodt; grandma: Mary Cross; grandfather: David Walter; great aunt: Kandyce Leonard; great uncle: Guy Vanderpool; second cousins: little Randy Leonard, Shawn Leonard and Todd Walter.

Funeral services will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM, with Cousin Stephanie Toschlog officiating.  Family and friends may visit Thursday at the funeral home one hour to the service.  Burial will follow at Earlham Cemetery.  Send online condolences to the family via the guestbook at www.communityfamilyfh.com
