RICHMOND, Ind. – Trevor Lee Stout, age 43, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Born September 21, 1974, in Richmond, Indiana, to Gary and Cookie Hay Stout, Trevor lived in Hagerstown, Indiana, most of his life.
He graduated from Hagerstown Jr./Sr. High School in 1993 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology and a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Ball State University.
Trevor was a Building Trades/Construction teacher at Richmond High School and formerly worked for many years at New Castle Community Schools and was the owner of Stout Construction. He loved building and creating items since the age of ten. Trevor’s wife and children were the center and focus of his life.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Stephanie Elaine Alexander Stout of Richmond; children, Allison and Nicholas Stout, both of Richmond; mother, Cookie (Sam) Neal of Tennessee; father, Gary (Barb) Stout of Connersville, Indiana; brother, Kirby Stout of Bloomington, Indiana; paternal grandmother, Lucille (Fred) Dilling of New Castle, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Phyllis (Bub) Becktell of Hagerstown, Indiana; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Becky Alexander of Richmond; aunts; uncles; cousins; and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Murray Stout and maternal grandfather, Frank Hay.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at First English Lutheran Church, 2727 East Main Street, Richmond with Pastor John R. Walker and Pastor Chip Belanga officiating. A private entombment will be in the First English Lutheran Church Columbarium at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
