Twyla May Templeton, 59, of Connersville, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020.

She was born in Sand Gap, Kentucky on June 17, 1962, one of seven children of Virgil and Lovella Jean (Lakes) Templeton. She left Kentucky in 1966, and later moved to Dayton, Ohio for six years. Four of those years, she spent as a licensed manicurist. From there, she moved to Connersville.

Twyla was employed as a residential and commercial painter for Templeton Painting.

She enjoyed attending both Community Gospel Church and PTC Ministries.

In her leisure, she enjoyed listening to Gospel and bluegrass music.

Survivors include two sons, Justin Hurst and Daniel (Wendy) Hurst, both of Connersville; a granddaughter, Candice Hurst of Connersville; her father, Virgil (Helen) Templeton of Lebanon, Ohio; four brothers, Damon (Paulina) Roger Templeton of Berea, Kentucky, Jeffrey Ray Templeton of Palm Beach, Florida, Michael (Lora) Joseph Templeton, Donnie Dale Templeton of Connersville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Lovella Jean Templeton; two brothers, Roger Isaacs and James Harold Isaacs; and two sisters, Debbie Sue Templeton and Diane Templeton.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend David Bowling will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.
