Vance Rayburn Stinson, age 52, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Vance was born June 6, 1970, in Richmond, Indiana, to Rita H. Stinson Lindsey. Vance was a life-long resident of Richmond, where he was raised by his loving mother and stepfather, Carl B. Lindsey, Jr. He worked in a variety of manufacturing, service, and maintenance positions. Vance enjoyed a wide variety of music, his favorite being bluegrass. He also enjoyed long drives in the country, fishing and spending time with friends.
Survivors include his brothers, Allen (Nicole) Stinson of Richmond, and Ty (Amy) Stinson of Schertz, Texas; beloved cousin, Eric Stinson of Richmond; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial visitation for Vance Rayburn Stinson will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
