Virginia “Ginny” Linegar, age 91, of Richmond, Indiana, died Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Brickyard Healthcare – Golden Rule Care Center.
Born June 14, 1931, in Staten Island, New York, to George and Mable Moss, Ginny had lived in this area since 1984. She worked for more than 10 years at the Richmond Senior Center. Ginny enjoyed crocheting, oil painting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved her family dearly and will be remembered by all as a kind-hearted person. Survivors include her daughter, Amy (Jeff) Higgins of Richmond; grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Franz, Ginny, and Kenny; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Larry” Linegar; daughter, Cindy Mone; grandson, Dominic Mone; and parents.
Visitation for Virginia “Ginny” Linegar will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Rev. Cliff Nunn officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
