Wayne Padgett, 77, of Connersville passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville.
He was born on August 26, 1939 in Waynesburg, KY to Chester and Mary Hayes Padgett and had lived most of his life in the Connersville area.
Wayne had worked at D&M in Connersville for over 40 years and enjoyed farming, caring for his animals and tinkering with vehicles.
Survivors include his wife Susan Marie (Haynes) Padgett; two sisters Brenda Baldwin and Carolyn Weaver; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by seven siblings Barb Steele, Eva Lockhart, Ralph Padgett, Elizabeth Blanton, Don Padgett, Patricia Beck, and Kenny Padgett.
Friends called at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 10:00 am until start of services at 11.00 am.
Burial was in Southlawn Cemetery in Dublin.
