As of 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Fayette County is now under a Level 3 Snow Emergency at this time.

WAYNE COUNTY
Wayne County Commissioners have issued a Level 2 travel watch for Wayne County as of 10:00 PM January 119th, 2019. This Watch will Expire at 5:00 PM on January 20th, 2019. Road conditions have deteriorated rapidly due to continued snow fall and blowing and drifting snow. A level 2 Travel watch is for Esential travel only.

• Travel to obtain essential medical care
• Travel to obtain essential prescription medications
• Travel to obtain essential supply of food or fuel
• Travel to obtain safe shelter
• Travel of emergency vehicles and emergency and healthcare workers

Cambridge City
Cambridge City Christian Church says all activities for Sunday, Jan. 20, are cancelled. This includes Sunday morning worship service, all Bible studies and Life groups, as well as the youth ice skating trip. This week’s sermon will be available for viewing on the church’s Facebook page at 10 a.m., or go to the website www.4c.church to watch it now or anytime.

No. 9 Grill is closing at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.

Cambridge City Public Library is closed Saturday, Jan. 19. If you get bored being snowed in, you can download the Libby app from your app store, select the Cambridge City library, and enter your library card number to get started downloading e-books and e-audios, 24/7.

Pizza 3.14 announced shortly after 3 p.m. Saturday that it will be closed that evening.

Golay Community Center will close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, and re-open for regular hours Sunday, Jan. 21.
Cutshaw’s Market will close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, and re-open at 8 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 21.
Lincoln High School Business Professionals of America’s pulled pork dinner has been moved from Sunday, Jan. 20, to Feb. 3. It will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Contact the school or BPA members for tickets.

Because of the school cancellation on Nov. 15, Western Wayne Schools will be in session on Monday, Jan. 21.

Centerville
Cope Environmental Center’s hiking trails will be closed until further notice due to ice accumulation.

Dublin
Dublin Friends Meeting will be closed Sunday, Jan. 20.

The Dublin Community Club will be closed Saturday night, so no skating will be taking place.

Fountain City
The Levi and Catharine Coffin House State Historic Site will be closed Sunday, Jan. 20.

Milton
Milton Christian Church has canceled Sunday’s service.
Community Bible Church will be closed Sunday, Jan. 20.

Richmond
Central United Methodist Church has canceled services Sunday.

Richmond 40 Bowl has closed and will reopen at noon Sunday.

First Presbyterian Church has canceled Sunday’s service.

Monday’s breakfast honoring Martin Luther King Jr. at Reid Health has been postponed because of weather. A rescheduled date has yet to be announced.

Lifted Church will not meet at Test Intermediate School. Pastor Matt will deliver a message via Facebook Live at 10:30 a.m.

First Christian Church in Richmond is closed Sunday, Jan. 20.

Mercurio’s Pizza is closed Saturday night and will reopen Thursday.

Fayette Regional Care Pavilion’s free open skate time for the community from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 19 at The Skate has been postponed.

Purdue/IU East/Ivy Tech
Campus will be closed Saturday, Jan. 19, due to weather. Campus will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Jan. 22, weather permitting. IU East says online courses are not affected except as indicated by the instructor.

Wayne County Historical Museum will be closed Saturday, Jan. 19.

Richmond Symphony Orchestra’s Recital Series featuring RSO members that was scheduled for 4 p.m. Jan. 20, at Bethany Theological Seminary’s Nicarry Chapel, 615 National Road W., Richmond, has been postponed.

FAYETTE COUNTY
Adult education in Connersville has been cancelled for Monday, Jan. 21. Ivy Tech is closed for the holiday and no one is there to plow the parking lot.

HENRY COUNTY

RANDOLPH COUNTY
Announcement from about 8:30 p.m. Saturday from Randolph County Homeland Security Emergency Management:
“Due to blizzard-like conditions, the Randolph County Highway is pulling their vehicles from the roads. We highly recommend that persons do not travel unless it’s an emergency. If you must travel, consider using four-way flashers as you drive to assist in being seen.”
