William J. “Bill” Shepler, 64, of Connersville passed away Saturday afternoon, March 14, 2020, at Reid Health of Richmond.
The son of Delmer and Barbara Calonge Shepler, Bill was born on July 6, 1955, in Richmond, Indiana and graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1974.
For many years Bill was employed at Visteon of Connersville.
Bill was a member of Crosspointe Biker Church and in his leisure time enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and watching football. He enjoyed collecting hotwheels, baseball cards, and football cards. Bill was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include three daughters, Tenelle (Machelle) Shepler of Michigan City, Indiana, Tifiney (Todd) Jordan of Connersville, and Teaara Shepler (Craig Pierce) of Cambridge City, Indiana; four grandchildren, Taylor Jordan, Max Dickey, Riley Shepler, and Henley Pierce; two great-grandchildren, Keenan Keller and Rowen Keller; Bill’s former wife, Terri Shepler of Connersville; three siblings, Randy (Cindy) Shepler, Steve(Tammy) Shepler, and Darryll (Mary Beth) Moorehead, all of Connersville. He is blessed with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and three siblings, Michael Shepler, Ricky Shepler, and Wendie Shepler.
Family and friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Crosspointe Biker Church, 1130 E Baseline Road, Connersville, Indiana. Pastor Chris Lovett will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
