SMITH, William “Jerry”, age 70, passed away on Sept. 30, 2016 at home.
He was born in Richmond, Indiana on Sept. 18, 1946 to William and Mary (May) Smith.
He grew up in Centerville and lived in Connersville for a time, while working at Ford.
He was a Honorable Veteran of the US Marines, and worked his career as a Plant Manager at several locations across the country.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy (Cornett) Smith, two sons, Darien Smith (Danielle), Brian Smith (Leona), a sister, Patricia Lilley, and four grandchildren, Isabella, Parker, Mary, and Olivia Smith.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers, Dennis of Connersville and Timmy of Florida, and one brother-in-law, Larry Lilly of Texas.
A Memorial Service took place on Saturday Oct. 8, 2016 11:00 AM at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks Chapel, Florida.
