RICHMOND, Ind. – Wilma D. Bishop, 93, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, at Forest Park Health Campus.
Born September 28, 1925, in Richmond, Indiana, to Robert P. and Bessie B. Corman Corman, Wilma was a life-long resident of this community. She was a 1943 graduate of Richmond High School. Wilma retired from Cox’s Supermarket in 1981, where she worked as a delicatessen clerk.
She was a member of the Richmond Senior Community Center, an avid bowler in the senior bowling league, and a longtime Cincinnati Reds fan.
Survivors include her sons, Joseph L. (Mary Boles) Agee of Mission Viejo, California, Thomas D. (Ronda) Agee of Richmond, and Douglas W. (Michelle) Agee of Lyons, Colorado; five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy J. Combes of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bishop; first husband, Ralph Agee, who died June 26, 1979; son, Richard A. Agee; parents; sisters, Viola P. May, Virginia B. Lucas, and Roberta M. West; and brothers, David G. and Kenneth P. Corman.
Visitation and service were Dec. 31 at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, Richmond. with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial was in Earlham Cemetery.
